60~80 hours roughly.
It's got 9 chapters and a prologue, and the last chapter is massively long.
So yeah, if SC really does take twice as long to play through I'm looking at probably over 100 hours.
That makes a hell of a meaty game.
Prologue took me somewhere in the 15-20 hour range too, since I spent a lot of time doubling/tripling/quadrupling back to talk to people.
Not like Xenogears or something that's basically 70 hours of non stop story.
But the amount of detail to the world building was pretty amazing. I hear later games are shorter. I hope the series does not lose it's deliberate pacing and detail.
