How do i pass the jager wommen at begining of game on Nightmare?

I am at lv 40, and have recobvered every piece of equipement i had. She baisically kills me in 2 shots. :( Even worse, it's only Estelle and Anelance...not a full party.
p.s I passed FC on nightmare mode startibg from scratch, and will attempt to do so with SC, so no, this is nota replay (although i di play SC on easy first)

It's not a surprise attack, just normal fight mode.
Standing at the back of the grid helps.
Using arts helps. If not, use S-crafts.
Best method for farming exp is killing shining poms in forest with S-crafts (I know, that farming CP is kinda pain)

It was created to answer these questions, and it won't spoil you future bosses, because of it's organization.

It's random.
They are in forest in prologue. In last 2 locations before jager woman

me getting my assed kicked by some monsters in the fortress, folowing some guy's advice to restart at hard, restarted..but at nightmare, of course, then proceeded to beat kert agin and am now poised, at lv 43 and cp 200 for both girls, to beat the women jaeger..hopefully... oh but this time, i bought the buyabole ingredients for cookies. can't make em yet though, gotta pass gun jaeger women first, that's the hard part. Game's pretty easy on Hard. Things shouldn't be difficult.

I'd recommend grinding to level 44 via Shining Poms before engaging the female Jaeger. There is another boss afterwards which was almost impossible for me on level 43. If you have the Steam version of the game defeating that boss on level 43 may be more feasible but you will still likely need a lot of attempts.
