Was this game originally not released in the West but only in Japan for the psp?
I wanted to collect some old retro rpgs and I can't seem to find the sequel to the first trails in the sky game on ebay. Was the sequel on psp not released to western audiences back then? I know that rpgs back then wasn't particularly big sellers in America, so I am guessing the Japanese developers didn't bother porting it here then.

FC and SC exist both as PSP games in English, the 3rd does not. I've no idea how rare they are though.

SC for PSP was released only after it was released on PC. PSP version of FC existed before PC, that is true.

By pc version I am curious if you mean the steam version? The steam store said this game was released in 2015 for steam which would mean the psp port of SC was released on that console long after it was relevant? Wouldn't it have made more sense to port it to the vita instead, or did they do both?

I can find the first trails game just fine on ebay, the second game I cannot for some reason so that is why I wondered if it came out or not in America.

No.... wait apparently SC was released only digitally on the PSP. From what I read online SC didn't get a physical release but a digital one for PSP which might explain why I can't find it on ebay.

That could be. I just know it exists, but not in what form.
