Hardest boss in the game? (Spoilers will be in this post)

I just finished it. For me I found the boss Marathon at the end harder than the final boss he is more of a HP sponge but the other members have less HP but can legit 1 shot you. I played on medium what did you all find to be the hardest boss?

Also does anyone know if there are optional super bosses in these games?

If you can consider a Cave Hydra in Ch. 8 or King Penguin on Ch. 3 optional super bosses, then yes, there are some.

The hardest one is Loewe. Even if you're grinded to the fullest he still can wreck you with rng. After that all prologue bosses, especially the sword one if you want to win him that is.

Most of other bosses are just hp sponges for the most part.

The hardest boss on Nightmare by far is prologue Spear Jaeger. Followed closely by Divine Penguin, then most of the other prologue bosses, then Loewe.

I haven't played on Nightmare, but on Hard, this is true as well.

I died on Loewe and Luciola lol

Prologue was hard on normal aswell for some reason like I mean compared to the other chapters besides the final.
