Question about Kloe *spoilers abound*

I've played and beaten the first game, and I'm looking forward to playing this game. I can tell from the last game that there will probably be a sort of love triangle between Joshua, Kloe, and Estelle, with Estelle obviously winning. Does Kloe stay single for the rest of the series? For reasons I can't fully explain, the thought of her ending up with someone really bothers me. She is my favorite character and I find myself rather emotionally invested in her story.

yeah-yeah, Olivier hits almost everything except Kloe, he seems avoids her most of the time, not sure because he doesn't want to annoy dear Mueller (breaking news, Erebonian prince harasses Liberl princess) or it's just that she's too good and serious and it's always hard to mess with such girls

Olivier might appear to hit on anything that moves, but it's far from true. He is very precise about how he goes about it, deliberately going for the most outrageously funny reactions and carefully avoiding causing any serious offense or deeply upsetting anybody.

In Kloe's case, I can think of at least two good reasons he'd leave her alone. First, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised that he cottoned on real quick to Kloe having a thing for Joshua and deciding she was too serious to screw around with. Second, she's Liberlian royalty, and he's deceiving her about secretly an Erebonia prince; she might think he was actually trying to seduce her for some nefarious purpose and get really angry.

It is easy to mess with Estelle because she fights back and she's simple and with a sense of humour, while girl like Kloe would get offended easily, she wouldn't fight back but keep it to herself. I don't think her thing for Joshua would stop him to mess with her, after all Estelle is into Joshua too but he messes with both Estelle and Joshua

I personally don't really see the whole Kloe/Lechter theory happening. I mean Kloe herself says in the 3rd that while she's thankful to him she feels nothing romantic for him.

Kloe loves Joshua, I think she will be single for awhile because she won't be able really to move on, I don't believe there is a room for other man in her heart. She can't fight with Estelle but I guess she can fight at least with Josette on Josette's level. Like Josette wants to steal Joshua but Kloe shuts her down, not because she defends Estelle but because if he's not with Estelle he should be with her not with Josette.

Well seeing as you just started the 3rd I'll avoid spoiling things for you, just that you'll get some answers to that sort of stuff later in the game.

But for those of you who don't mind spoilers, or just need reminding I'll post in spoilers what happened.

The Joshua/Kloe thing does get closure in 3rd (Star Door 3 I believe). Kloe confesses her love for Joshua and he politely shuts her down. She takes it pretty well though.

In her own words "Don't worry. I knew exactly how you were going to respond before I said anything. I just felt like I had to get that out before I could really start moving on."

They remain good friends though, and the conversation then goes on to talk about what's been troubling Joshua.
