Falcom games in general are really well done so I don't mind their price at all, although the older Ys games usually get sales where they become really cheap too.
These games were literally native Windows lol
Not in absolute terms, perhaps (27 euros is a steal for the sheer behemoth of a game you are getting with SC, for example), but when compared to how the rest of the industry operates, older titles like this usually go for much less.
They're on sale regularly enough, though.
So, due to the nature of these games, the high price probably isn't deterring anyone from buying it, since casual consumers wouldn't buy this game or the 3rd in the first place anyway; only hardcore fans who are already invested would, and for them, the high prices wouldn't stop them.
Of course, there are some exceptions to this, but for the most part, it holds true.
Falcom games mostly have very very good pc versions that are better then console
Bye.
And mileage may vary on whether it's even worth doing that. The Evo art has a REALLY bad case of sameface. Being higher res doesn't make it better lol.
