About the "Blorf" Achievement
So I saved before the Gilbert fight. I couldn't beat all of them before the time limit so I loaded again and managed to beat them this time. But I didn't get the achievement. Achievement description says "don't ever lose to him" so did I lose my chance of getting that achievement forever, is it a bug or do I have to start a new playthrough?

If you are talking about when escaping from Glorious in CH6 there are another enounter or 2 later in the game where you have to defeat Gilbert again to get achivement. That one confused me the first time I played it.

There are 2 more encounters with Gilbert after this one. ONE is optional actually (and also time limited).

There are 2 more possible encounters with Gilbert. One in the optional Liberation of Jenis in CH8, and a manditory one where you have to rescue the Sky Bandit brother from the Glorious in CH9.

Optional fight has a time limit. The mandatory one is limitless.

If you want to take down the optional win, a clever orbment setup gives you access to Silver Thorn. Put on two proxy puppets, let them come to you, AOE confuse, then spam Death Scream.

I just use food items honestly.

I got this Achievement and the first battle vs. Gilbert was by far the hardest one. I barely was able to beat that and I had to use special food items that I happened to have in order miraculously to fluke out a win.

In the second battle, I never used Silver Thorn or any kind of special tactics, but Gilbert and his mob still dropped super fast anyway.

The third battle vs. Gilbert was also very easy.
