Sky SC difficulty mod

If you haven't seen any of this before, here's the changelog:

The mod is designed to be played on NIGHTMARE! Hard may still work but the early game is going to be pathetic (yeah, the game becomes harder as you go now, not easier lol).

How to install:

Put: "ED6_DT22" and "ED6_DT30" (both without quotes) into your sky SC install directory. This directory (for the steam version) is:

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Trails in the Sky SC

This mod can be installed mid-playthrough and will work as intended, though re-equipping your orbments is required for both slot restrictions and the new orbment system to apply.

Honestly, got no clue what happened here.
The original version of the mod should work just fine. Though honestly I really need to go back and repackage the mod with a new version since the one in the OP is dramatically.
Was also away from my PC for the last month and a half which is why I didn't respond.

Excuse me, it know this is kinda late to be asking but I can't download the modding toolkit you uploaded before, it says the files are infected, I'd like to try a few things myself so is there any way you can reupload it?

I removed the extracting and recompiling tools though, you'll have to manually download them from a different source:

In fact, if you just want to mod, it might be better to not ♥♥♥♥ around with the toolkit and just download the tools manually from the above website. You'll want ED6unpacker and ED6back from that website if you want to extract/recompile the game's files.

1. In ED6_DT22, modify t_status._dt. Though do note that this is set on a per character basis and is set for each and every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level manually.
2. I wouldn't know.

No matter what I use they can't read the text very well, it all looks like gibberish and I have no idea what does what. Do I have to download a separate program or does something that Windows 10 has by default work?

Use a HEX editor and err no there isn't a program that helps you view the data properly. The HEX and texts that you see in the files are actually data. That's how we create our mods, by understanding the files structure and modifying the data accordingly.

Yes, you need a hex editor and to find the data structure behind everything.
