If u mean "get a crash" aplication is no responding, but still working just hit alt + TAB and w8 a couple sec. Then go back in and should let u go. I have problems on start too, but this metod is working for me.

I see that you added me as a friend. Do not be afraid to send me a quick message so we can look at your issue together.

But as @Negocjathor said, do make sure the game isn't just "hanging".
We do load in a lot of stuff on that screen, so maybe, on your hardware, Windows detects that as "not responding" and is showing you this window:

If that's the case, just click Wait for program to respond and it should continue in a couple of seconds.

For other people experiencing this,

The Alt+Tab workaround was working for him, but he was getting poor performance within the game. We found out the game was trying to run off of his Intel Integrated Graphics instead of off the Graphics Card.

Following the steps from this page made it work (and no longer stop responding on boot):
http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/72567/can-i-force-steam-to-use-my-nvidia-gpu-instead-of-the-integrated-intel-card

Quoting the solution here:

I have a similar computer set up, and here is how I make it work:
  1. Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel by right clicking on your desk top and clicking on "NVIDIA Control Panel".
  2. In the default screen that pops up (it should be "manage 3D settings", and the "Program Settings" tab should be automatically selected), under "1. Select a program to customize:" hit the "Add" button.
  3. From here, navigate to the folder where your steam games are located. For me, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common.
  4. Select the folder for the game you want to use your NVIDIA card for, and find the .exe for that game (it's usually right in the main game folder). Select it and hit open.
  5. Then, under "2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program:" open the drop-down menu and select "High-performance NVIDIA processor".
  6. Finally, hit apply in the far bottom right corner, and you should be good to go!
When you start the game from Steam, the .exe will be opened, which will now run with your NVIDIA card by default rather than your integrated card. I've noticed that most older games, when started, will use the integrated card by default. The method described above can be used for any .exe file, not just games in your steam library!

Yeah I've played 12 hours with no crash, now it's crashing every time I try to initiate a game.

@JoKer: Make sure you are connected to Steam on an account that owns the game. Excuse me if I am mistaken, but It does not look like to be the case for this account of yours.

@waldizera: Could you share your Crash Logs/output_log with us?
Here is where they are:
  1. Right click Livelock in your Library and go into Properties.
  2. Under Local Files, click Browse Local Files.
  3. You should see a folder with the following naming scheme 2016-08-30_134714 for everytime you crash.
  4. Put them together in a zip and upload it to service like http://filedropper.com/ . Share the link with us.
  5. Go into the Livelock_Data folder and upload the output_log.txt file to a service like http://www.filedropper.com/ , share the link with me here.
If you do not see the crash folders, just the ouput_log will do.

Thanks,

Hi I'd love to help. However, there is no such file named 2016-08-30_134714 or similar exploring the game files. I'll just exclude all and reinstall game let's see how it goes.
CHeers.

Oh sorry, as I said, if the folders aren't there, only the output_log.txt would do, which should be there.

Here's how to do that, if you haven't uninstalled the game yet:
  1. Right click Livelock in your Library and go into Properties.
  2. Under Local Files, click Browse Local Files.
  3. Go into the Livelock_Data folder and upload the output_log.txt file to a service like http://www.filedropper.com/ , share the link with me here. I will be able to download it and troubleshoot your issue quickly.

Sorry for the misunderstanding,

Hey Gorthaur, sorry you are experiencing those crashes. If you don't mind, I have some more questions for you.

Are you getting these crashes in a specific Mission or at any point?

After the game close due to a crash, would you mind following the steps above to get the output_log.txt to us too?

Thank you, this will help us a lot.
