just play hot seat, a 2 players game. i think it works.
there is no other possibility to play this with another person.
this games doesnt have remote play together...

i tried online play, and it works for me.

here is how:
1. create an online match and invite a friend
2. your friend should be able to join and both of you click ready
3. the host clicks "launch game"
4. then nothing happens. you will see the grey screen with your profile
5. click to cancel ready and leave
6. find the online match you just created and "resume" the match
7. you should be able to play online
