ID reference
In the absence of an inspector for dom 6, is there a published ID reference listing all creatures, weapons, armor, sites, etc. and their ID values? I'm trying to update a few mods and it's getting tedious looking everything up in-game. I notice that spells all seem to have new IDs, but the monsters I've checked so far have the same IDs as dom 5.

Most monsters are the same as in Dom5. There are a few exceptions, such as elementals with their new shrinking mechanics.
Spells on the other hand are pretty much totally reshuffled with new ones, added glamour and rebalancing done.

I wrote a thing that messed with sites a bit some months ago, which happened to mean that outputting some basic info like site IDs was pretty easy.

Maybe this helps somebody, at least until the inspector scraper comes around[pastebin.com]

Thanks, kristoffer, for confirming what I suspected. I'll be careful with elementals. Or probably I'll avoid them altogether for now, since you have to mod each one 6 times. Oh, and probably even more now, with 10 size categories, I guess. Ha ha.

Spells at least are very easy to look up, since the research screen shows all of them always and ctrl+i works. Monsters are a bit less convenient, but since they're mostly the same as D5 that's fine. The real hard stuff is things for which ctrl+i, the hotkey to look up the ID in-game, doesn't work; like monster weapons and armor and sites. Speaking of sites...

That's really helpful, Loggy, thanks! You remain a great liberator of information.

ctrl+i does work for weapons and armour, you just find a monster with the weapon/armour and press ctrl-i and it will list the IDs for their weapons/armour. It's true you can't use it from the screen when you click on the weapon/armour itself though.

Oh, you're right! I have some serious tunnel vision for the monster id, it seems. Thanks for mentioning it, Sombre.

Edit: and it looks like creature weapon and armor ID mostly remain the same as in Dom 5, at least from the dozen or so I just looked up, so I'll optimistically continue with that assumption and see where it gets me.

Ctrl-i also notably doesn't work on sites, which was partly why I went to make the above.

(but it does for spells/units and their equipment)

Yeah. I think ctrl-i should be made to work on sites. But even if it did, you'd have to tailor a map script to place the site in a test game... or I guess maybe build a custom spell sequence that summons the site all just so that you could use ctrl-i on it :D. So having that list is a big help. Let's hope larz or somebody else comes up with a dom 6 inspector soon!
