Spells on the other hand are pretty much totally reshuffled with new ones, added glamour and rebalancing done.
Maybe this helps somebody, at least until the inspector scraper comes around[pastebin.com]
Thanks, kristoffer, for confirming what I suspected. I'll be careful with elementals. Or probably I'll avoid them altogether for now, since you have to mod each one 6 times. Oh, and probably even more now, with 10 size categories, I guess. Ha ha.
Spells at least are very easy to look up, since the research screen shows all of them always and ctrl+i works. Monsters are a bit less convenient, but since they're mostly the same as D5 that's fine. The real hard stuff is things for which ctrl+i, the hotkey to look up the ID in-game, doesn't work; like monster weapons and armor and sites. Speaking of sites...
That's really helpful, Loggy, thanks! You remain a great liberator of information.
Edit: and it looks like creature weapon and armor ID mostly remain the same as in Dom 5, at least from the dozen or so I just looked up, so I'll optimistically continue with that assumption and see where it gets me.
(but it does for spells/units and their equipment)
