Copy/paste orders

We really need to be able to copy/paste orders not only in the unit transfer screen, but also in the tactical screen (or whatever it is called).

For troops you can just use the keyboard shotcuts.
There is a key for every order you can give your troops.
Works in the tactical screen too.

What do you mean? I thought you could already copy +paste all types of orders both for troops and commanders with Ctrl + number?

Or are you thinking of their position on the battlefield?

I just wish there were some very simple QoL features like "copy order to all selected commanders" or "transfer similar magic item to all selected commanders".
Simple stuff that would decrease micro of many mages/tugs tremendously

Itemization templates would be nice for research boosters and standardized thug kit, or even an "automatically assign research boosters to researchers" option.

That could be a bit risky though, if the game decides to automatically assign your pretender a Lightless Lantern. ;)

I mean the odds of triggering horror marks from lightless lanterns are pretty small and it's still way less work to click on your pretender once a turn/make sure his misc slots are filled than allocate like 3-20 boosters a turn depending on pace of production. The real concern would be with Imp familiars as those are cursed and would probably need to be exempted, Also would need to be coded such that it doesn't assign useless duplicates to the same researcher. Still research booster assignment is one of the most mind numbing steps of the mid to late game so it would be much appreciated.

I of course mean commander orders. You can only copy/paste in the army assignment screen. If you are in the squad positioning screen and have a commander selected you can't copy or paste their orders. This alone makes me almost never use that screen, unless the mages are already scripted the way I want.

I do wish there were some QoL ways to make playing MA Ermor easier like having all the free troops auto assigned to commanders, etc.

It is very time consuming (and fun) to play this nation.
