There are a not-entirely-separate group of entities known as asura in buddhism, including traditions from outside the region of the vedic asura. 阿修羅 in Chinese, eg in Zhiyi, あしゅら in Japanese
As a somewhat similar example, consider the Dharmapala of the Underworld. Based on the Hindu god Yama (and that's his default in-game name), he is also available to T'ien C'hi and Jomon (and the Japanese equivalent would be "Enma").
Only discounted for TC though, but I don't think that's unreasonable given his aesthetics and paths (although one could argue that a dicsount for Shinuyama, he does have Fire and Death..)...
