I noticed a mention of Mirror Walk being fixed to no longer work for immobile commanders. Is that a national spell? I've never seen it before.
very cool to have some new asphodel tricks, the nation seems a lot more viable than it used to be, but

what's the point in the new asphodel-exclusive pretenders all having growth and magic scales if the pretender's scale changes can't stack with the nation's +2 growth and +1 magic regardless?

It's LA Marignon's. They got a bunch of new mages and spells in Dom6.

Aha. That explains it. Thank you. :HappyMask::gearthumbsup:
Those new pretenders look fantastic. I appreciate the big update.
A certain number of Ind players are also probably celebrating about the cheaper temples too.
wish you would go more in depth into "national summons balance"

This is the case with a LOT of nations. All the elemental nations have a ton of thematic pretenders that do not stack. It makes the game feel like it's a waste to pick a thematic pretender.

LET NATION AND GOD SCALES STACK TOGETHER. If you have to get rid of nations with +2 scales so no one can start with 5s, so be it.

Let people have level 4 scales! Thematic scales and pretenders for everyone!
Oh my goodness! I loved Ash before this. Now this nation is going to become a real power in the MA and not just a side joke spoken of in whispers and then never played in MP games.

Other very significant changes -

Increased 3D performance (+25% FPS) for Windows-AMD (new AMD driver) and Mac
- I did notice my fans blowing all the time when playing. I hope this improves that situation.

Ind got cheaper temples as 'every mansion is a palace and every building is a temple'
- Very big deal for Ind!

Heroism bless +50% -> +35% xp
- Agree, and maybe a bigger nerf may be warranted.

Humanoid apes and dogs now leave corpses when they die.
- Wait. Corpses on the battlefield? Awesome!

Fix for simulacrum losing global enchantments when killed.
- Good to know.

Rider's magic items never affected mounts that were commanders.
- Much appreciated.

Pretenders no longer lose passive bless when outside dominion.
- Huge fix!

Awesome change’s Illwinter!
The Heroism change is great to see! The bless had basically entirely replaced attack/defense skill on builds I've seen people using; I think it might still be very popular as it's likely still more efficient most of the time even with the adjustment.

Also I love the Asphodel content update, it's super cool to see new stuff like that!

It was originally nerfed to 25% in the beta, but as testers we brought up that was likely too harsh.

No, it refers to the "corpses" resource in the province, they are used by some spells and mechanics are normally only visible if you have Death mages.
Anyone know which national summons were adjusted with the new patch?
I was hoping some of the new pretenders could be taken by Oceania. Like the Worm Soul. The Worm Soul is fully Amphibious, and I believe it has a Sea Shape.
The Heroism nerf is bad but not exactly horrible. For two bless points you used to be able to double your XP. It was basically the "I get every hero perk" strategy and it also made any-fort sacreds extremely scary because of how quickly they became elite. +70% XP is still pretty good.

I didn't know ape-folks weren't showing up as corpses, I really need to play death-bandar more.
As far as I could tell when I was looking at it, only size 3 humanoids were leaving corpses, but I wasn't testing exhaustively. Adding dogs and apes is a good step, imo. Hopefully more is to come. When playing a nation that I built to rely heavily on the corpses resource, it became absolutely crippling to fight against most non-human nations because they just didn't leave anything behind I could use. Even when I won it was a kind of loss. Kind of MA Ermor in reverse.
I really appreciate the constant drumbeat of updates that contain a combination of bugfixes, new content, and new modding options. It's impressive and cool.

It's also satisfying to be able to identify fixes for a number of bugs that I (probably among others) have reported, so I appreciate the detailed bugfix list. I know it can be a chore to keep track of what all has been done when so many things are in motion, but it definitely encourages me to keep reporting when I see that the reports have merit and can get resolved.
