Will We Get a Cat Nation?

Now that we have a Late Age dog nation, surely we now need a nation of feline humanoids. It's the only way to restore balance to the force. But what religions, cultures, and mythologies would they take inspiration from? Egypt would be the obvious choice, but the lizards have that covered.

I might port and finish my Nubian liontaurs, best I can do. Some form of cats could be cool, sloth domain obviously.

The Khajit in Tamriel (Elder scrolls) could be another inspiration. or a modification of Machaka, which already has lions.

That could be fun - it might be an obscure reference, but perhaps inspired by the Lion-taur civilization in the Quest for Glory series? Or maybe "wemics" from older versions of pen-and-paper Dungeons and Dragons ;)

I certainly borrowed from Wemic designs but it was simply combining a Machaka colossi with a lion sprite, they fit really well together. Took it from there, took Nubia because their pantheon has a lot of overlap with Egypt and a lot of lion deities. But I faltered when I made them in Dom4 and never ported it to Dom5. Certainly would need a good overhaul for 6.

The mod nations Bubastis and Musafir could be ported from Dom5. They're unrelated to each other, but both feature feline humanoids. Neither of them are late-age, but a late-age version of the aforementioned Lemnos is apparently planned. It's even intended to have something Ulthar-related about it, from what the mod author has said.
