New scales system
What's the thought behind the new scales only going to +4 max?
Was kind of sad when I saw I could not increase growth by picking an appropriate god with asphodel, for it already has +2.

It goes all the way to +5 / -5, it just isn't always easy to get there.

It would reinforce certain extreme builds even more than Dom5. They wanted to move away from extreme optimal builds and see more variety among the pretender builds. So less wide rainbows and maximizing temp scales every time.

Also extreme scales, 4 and 5, seems to have negative effects and is probably not something you really want to have unless you specifically prepare for it.

Its bad design unfortunatelly. Charm of Dominions is asymetrical play which should reach out into each pretender's dominion. Not that this happens, just saying.

I don't think it goes to 5 like you say pencil, for it is 2 base, +2 for nation. But then adding the +1 from god does nothing.

Well of Misery gives 5 growth in a province it was cast and +2 worldwide. Kind of super interesting case to fix death 2 scales with rushed research. Also how cool is that you can set 15 global spells limit : )

Turmoil/ luck seems to be a complete waste now, nerfed to oblivion, worse than Dom 5. Playing MA Ermor with 2 Turmoil 2 Luck and after 12 turns I have about 15 odd gems and no gold and where is Etimmu or even one of the other national heroes or even and indy mage?
