Soul of Avaritia - how?

AFAIK, the first step to this achievement is when you decide not to lie during the lake of god event. Then you receive the rusty axe, which is supposed to lead to another event later on, where you obtain the soul of avaritia and the achievement. Jeez, I've probably had this lake of god event at least 10 times, but I've never had the follow-up event. Is there something specific you need to do for it? What does this follow-up event look like? Can you start a run with the rusty axe and trigger the follow-up event without the lake of god event?

So, I've completed about 20 runs with the rusty axe and haven't gotten the follow-up event even once. Dear devs, how about cranking up the RNG factor a bit here? I like your game, honestly, but I definitely don't want to spend another 30 hours just to get the last achievement because the RNG gods say so...

I've just completed this event. Both events were in Zone 1, and in my case, right after each other. I got the Rusty Axe, and the next node was an event and was the Soul event.

I don't know if this is required, but it's possible to complete within the first few events.

I finally did it! Just as projhex said, on the first map, and it was right after the event with the rusty axe. So, it's preferable to choose routes where 2 or more ?'s follow each other.

I think we should add the following event in the map 2 pool too.

That, and make it so that it always comes directly with the next ? after the axe event if you have the rusty axe in your inventory.
