Skill list in weapons
Hi, Im confused about the skill list in the weapons. What are we actually unlocking here? it feels like the skill i am unlocking are skills that already appear as an option when i level up. if that's the case, what are these?

wait are these just so i can start with that said skill and nothing else? seems like it's pointless to make the cost go higher no? it's not like the skill next to it is better than the last?

You could be right, not a fair design.

Starting skills must contain their own special buffs. For example, a toxic and poison spell should add 5% poison and %5 toxic damage for each other poison skill.

The Synergy kind of doing this job.

It's a example. You can put different meaning or idea to this weapon spells issue. Actually there is no purpose to unlock other spells on a weapon unless the last spell is most powerful and first is weakest. Nevertheless, even so, we can access these other spells in-game.

Wait, so unlocking those skills doesn't let you start with all of them? I thought for sure that was the design of the progression from playing the prologue. With that kind of time and resource sink, it seemed logical. If its just choosing a different single starter skill, that's a bit deflating.

The cost to unlock the individual skills is trivial and there is no guarantee you will see every skill over the duration of a run. I just did a Lux poison fan run and never got the poison beetle summon as a skill option. I don't know if that was bad luck, or it's harder to roll summons for her, but if there's a skill in a set you really enjoy it's worth spending the tiny amount of gems to start with it and make sure you can use it. You can get like 20k+ per run, it costs like 200-2000 to unlock a starting skill, it's not really a concern. Unlocking every skill for every weapon on every character does at least give you something to spend gems on when you have nothing better to do with them.

Already change all skill unlock to a fix price of 500
