This imply to use some braincells to enjoy the game, are you mad ?
Weebs ain't here for that
I've never saw "people not playing single players because it's dead" frankly it must just be an excuse to not buy games they never intended to play anyway.
And for this kind of posts... they're just fishing their clown gift
better that way. less depraved
Niche game mate, the whole design of this game is only going to appeal to a very select crowd, it's lucky its capcom and they do not need the money because it sure as hell is not going to make back the money they spent making it.
When you don't blow a few hundred million on development and you don't then compound that by chucking a few hundred million on marketing there's this weird thing that happens where your break even point actually falls below a realistic number of sales.
There are in fact legends of a time when such a thing was common. As with all such things, you can tell it's a myth due to the utopian nature of the legend - developers being able to actually finish the title before release, games that didn't alienate their audience with microtransactions, lootboxes and live service jank in an effort to actually make enough money to finish development. Dogs and Cats living together, that kind of thing.
You really think this game is "breaking even" with, let's say roughly 10K sales on STEAM, and maybe similar sales elsewhere? Game was in development for four years, that's a number of work hours to "break even" on.
