Sure it's a locked 120 at near 4K but it's pushing the 4080 hard which obviously is no slouch. It's actually heavier than RE4R I think.
with RT on I was falling below 80 occasionally at 1440p 100% render scale (think it was set to 100). Definitely heavier on the GPU than it should be.
Obviously different engines but you look at things like metro exodus redux and what that is doing and it runs a lot better, other games too, but even compared to other RE engine games it does seem heavy. Like Exoprimal runs a lot smoother and that has a lot more going on.
Wondering since I am running a i9 9900k and a 7900 GRE. this game looked cool when it was first announced , and I was happy to hear that it was on RE engine specifically for the possible great performance.
The only RE game that I have had performance issues is street fighter 6's Open world. My GPU can handle it but the CPU is the bottle neck for that part of the game.
