(Red Dragons) The secret of J-7 / F-7 Chengdu and the USSR Mig-23 (A NATO villain aways present)

Many people guess the J-7/F-7 Chengdu is the worst fighter in the game, no, it's not, the J-7 Chengdu (J7 II or IIM) is a monopoint fighter, best used like a patrol fighter or like an escort fighter never entering the enemy zone, i say never.

The best strategy used is putting 4 J-7 Chengdu patrolling everytime the friend zone, the function is similar to Shenyang J-6/F-6, the Mig-19, the J-5/F-5 Shenyang and the Mig-17, but the J-7 is superior in number.

In the Red Dragons Deck there are 18 J-7 (Air Superiority): 6 J-7 IIM, 6 J-7 II and 6 F-7B (Exported version of J-7) at low rank levels.

Remember, Red Dragons have strength in numbers.

The enemy will try to attack one or two of yours J-7s, it's time to put the others J-7s patroling to hunt down the enemy.
Now you can use the Mig-23 ML, the Shenyang J-8 or Xian JH7 to safely take down the enemy.

The AA SAMs will help them.

USSR Mig-23 ML and MLD

I use very much the Mig-23 ML / MLD as a hunt fighter and as an escort fighter. It's my backbone fighter.

As an escort fighter, i put Mig-23 ML or MLD protecting a Mig-31 or a Mig-25, because the Mig-31 or the Mig-25 fills a need for the USSR Mig-23 that is the long range attack or BVR.

As a hunt fighter, the MLD is the best choice because the ECM of 20% and can go to the frontier of your nation, i use to rank them as Elite, that will have better survivability.

Mig-23 is good to take down fighters, bombers and Helicopters.
Is very good to break Helicopter rush.

PS: Mig-23 is good, not the best, you will encounter very critical situation if the opposing force come with F-14, F-15, F-16, the F-18 // F/A-18.
