Campaign Freezing Start Of Battle

Wondering if anybody can help sort a very annoying problem!?
My game runs absolutely perfectly and has done up until I have found this problem, Playing through the Bear vs Dragon campaign; as soon as I place my units and press 'Launch Battle' on the Vladivostok map my game instantly freezes and shuts itself down, I have no clue why it is doing it, Really annoying as trying to enjoy the campaign !

P.s I am a Mac user, People will probably suggest getting a pc but I am a student and simply cannot afford a good gaming one, and my study choices mean a mac is my best option. Added this info incase it helps to find cause of problem ! Mac is able to run game well!

Any help, feedback or fix is very much appreciated !

I've had a similar problem recently. I can start Vladivostok, deploy units, then as soon as combat starts the game starts lagging so badly that it's unplayable.

I do not have this issue with any other campaign/map/battle/skirmish. I'm playing on a laptop with:

Windows 8.1
i7-4700MQ
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

Maybe there's a memory leak on that map or whatsoever. Please report on the official forum (forums.eugensystems.com) -> Wargame: Red Dragon -> Technical support

SInce the Beta patch on christmas eve I've been getting this across all maps. I have no idea why.
