Why not look up information by yourself???????
I personally would recomend you to first learn basic gameplay in skirmishes, based on your posts.
Now u got no clue yet, which divisions have which units and how to combine them at campaign map to have balanced or advantageous assortment of units in battle.
Learn the combat/tactics basics in skirmish first, then try to strategize in campaign, is my advice.
I thought that it was a given that Korea DOES have lots of artillery aimed at South Korea...I don't know exact OOBs but couldn't they have had more than 4 MiGs in the OOB?....
Here's how to answer the points you bring up:
Problem: Units running out of ammo - Reason: units run out of ammo in Wargame games.
Problem: North Korea having lots of artillery - Reason: North Korea has lots of artillery.
Problem: Supply trucks run out of supplies to distribute - Reason: supply trucks run out of supplies to distribute.
Problem: running out of supply trucks - Reason: There's a limited amount of supply trucks in Wargame games. Hint hint, you can refill them at FOBs.
Problem: Can't bring in infantry, can only use AA infantry - Reason: you don't have infantry to bring in, or for some reason you only have AA infantry left, or for some reason you only sent a *partial* AA Company to an engagement.
Problem: unsure what to do in campaign - Solution: complete the objectives.
No really, all of those things are basically GIVEN information for a Wargame game. You seem to have done your research several dollars too late. Wargame games have always intended to be a bit on the realistic side when it comes to the economics of military command and warfare.
Sounds like you should have bought RUSE or the like instead? There, you can get your infinite tanks. They're on back order.
Exactly. I learned how to work Wargame games through, well, the first campaign of the first game, European Escalation; Bruder Gegen Bruder campaign.
It also simplifies things because you don't have to worry about air or water. Just land, and it starts you out with small units (4 Leopard 1s, then a recon unit too, then you can bring in a couple more units and try out supplying).
