I'm glad I tried my friends version first, This game looks great but plays like utter crap gameplay wise.

I wish it was more like act of war or act of war High treason. AOW was one of my favourite RTS games as well as Total annihilation and Supreme commander.

Maybe I should spend a little more game-play to decide if I wan't to buy it.

If I could play act of war I would. But act of war isn't compatible with windows 7 or 8.

I did some testing and the game plays great on my PC.
Maybe make sure your keyboard is not actually hooked up to your toilet.
If it is in fact hooked up to your PC, then the crap is probably on the keyboard side.
So maybe it is just you playing like utter crap?
That's the best troubleshooting I can offer. ;)

You could play Act of War on higher level Windows systems, since all Windows OS is created with back-portability in mind. Just change the compatibility mode for AoW to Windows XP.

As for the game, I'm sorry you don't like it. Everyone has their opinions and preferences. But did you really have to go on the Wargame Steam forums and post something that could be interpreted as a flame post?

If you don't like the game, you don't need to buy it. And seeing as you haven't even bought it, I don't see what the problem is.

This is because Wargame dont play like Act of War, Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander. It's not a "click to attack" game. You have to deploy each unit type carefully across the map, counter the enemy strengths, exploit their weaknesses and plan your attacks.

It just not like "a tank! I will sent 10 cheap jeeps and overwhelm it with machinegun!"

im enjoying the game,,, but wish there was more uniqness to the units, or they had more diffence in details... like how they sound when they shoot and such...
