Why is it Blufor and Redfor...

NATO and PACT are european alliences and dont include asian nations. bluefor means friendly units and redfor to be honest i don't know whats it called that i tried looking it up, and what i found is that it is what enemy units are called because they are usally marked in red on the mini maps and thing in games.

because you can play Nato Vs Nato or Pact vs Pact so it would be weird having nato labled as"PACT"

NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which does not include Japan, South Korea, or Australia/New Zealand. BLUFOR is an umbrella term for NATO + allies.

Warsaw Pact = Soviet Union and its European satellite states. China and North Korea are not part of the Warsaw Pact. REDFOR is an umbrella term for Pact + allies (also called REDFOR as the color red is a common feature in socialist/communist states).
