Red Dragon Halo Mod (ideas)
Has anyone else ever thought about this? A Halo mod could work soo well, as we have all the basics. now we just need models, textures and sounds. I wouldn't even mind playing on current maps; Maybe if they were changed later on.

You could have units for USMC

LOG - Warthog CV

- Pelican Supply (Like Chinook)
- Pelican with Marines

INF - Marines (Pelican)

- Marines (Some kind of Warthog thing)

+ Anything else i've forgotten

Although there are not much choice of set units, i am sure that if someone was keen on this they could design a couple more. (Of which i would gladly help) As That list just took me about 30 minutes to write and plan, i'l do the Covenant one if anyone actually cares for this and also believes this can be done. I also have ideas for the Flood which could be a later addition to the mod, this could be achieved by making the range of the Flood units very low, or something like that.

If anyone finds this interesting and also has the same sort of ideas to do with this then be sure to show some support in the comments. As I myself am not a "Modder" and these are only ideas. However if this gets big enough #ThatsWhatSheSaid Then we might be able to get some descent modders invloved and this could become a thing.

Not even possible we can not make new models or change models in game.
Everything is hardcoded when it comes to changing the way units look and we have no idea what was used to make units.

I always wanted to see a proper Halo RTS (Halo Wars was great, but was catered to the consoles).

yeah although I must question why do such small maps and only 50 units when RUSE did it much better.

Like he said, it was due to the game's release as a console exclusive. Limiting the scale made up for the problems inherent to the control scheme.

*(Behaves like an FnF A2A missile with a high ROF.)
Type-26 Banshee* (2x light plasma cannons, 1x Guided Fuel Rod Cannon**)
*(On the assumption that it can hover in place a-la Halo 2 and Halo 3 ODST.)
**(Works as a FnF missile that can target ground or air.)

AIRCRAFT
Type-31B Seraph* (ASF, 4x heavy plasma cannon, 2x Pulse Laser Battery.**)
*(The Halo Reach Seraph model, as opposed to the Halo 2 one.)
**(Essentially a long range SA A2A missile for gameplay, but looks like a laser visually.)
Type-31A Seraph* (Bomber, 4x Heavy Plasma Cannon, 4x Plasma Charges**)
*(The Halo 2 Seraph model.)
**(A large HE bomb, in gameplay terms.)
Type-27 Banshee XMF* (Multirole, 2x Heavy Plasma Cannon, 1x Guided Fuel Rod Cannon.)
*(The 'Space Banshee' from Halo Reach.)

DAMN Darth. I am a huge Halo fan and I could not even do a quarter of this. Now I really wish we had the unit modeller/editor for wargames.

Also if youu guys want a halo space strat game check this out it for sins of a solar empire rebellion

DarthHamer, that is an awesome list you got there. If they ever decided to ever make this game moddable, that would be the most accurate list of I'd expect in a halo mod of this.
