Wargame: Red Dragon

Air support is not avalable
I have just started to play this game. I won the first battle for South Korea. The second one is where I attack Yeongdeok.

I add some planes to the Airport Panel, command points are spent. However, after the battle launch I have no airplanes available totally. The AIR COMM button is greyed out. As a result I can't attack from air, can't protect my assets against aerial attacks and a single SU-25 destroys lots of my tanks.

Seems I don't understand something or there is a bug in the game. Please help. What am I doing wrong?

You have to have a certain zone which allows the arrival of Air units. If you zoom out some zones will have a solid arrow that shows ground units can arrive in this zone and a dotted one for air.

as stated....you must hold a deployment zone with a command unit in order to order in mre units or air support

I have a command unit in one of the deployment zones "to Busan". It is added automatically and I cannot remove it. There are two deployment zones. I tried to move my only command unit to another zone, but it did not work either. Does it mean that I have to have command units in both deployment zones?

Yu can only deploy units in the zones you own at the start. If the zone it occupies at the start only has land deployment then you will not be able to launch planes. If you zoom right out it will show you which zones have the ability to deploy planes and you must secure these ones.
