I got banned

how the hell did i get banned, i got banned because someone named nickname "Gay ♥♥♥♥♥♥ somthing somthing" and i commented on his post and i somehow got banned. is there any way to appeal it? i dont understand someone vile and toxic got me banned

At a guess they're using a poorly implemented keyword filter and it doesn't cover usernames.

Presumably you appeal to Eugen: I don't suppose you have screenshots of the post, that might help your case.

Honestly im so disappointed i only get so much time to game and this company just reports me, w/o investigating.... im just gonna write them off at this point. this post was almost just an angered ♥♥♥♥ you Eugen. thanks for response thou just, disapointed

It's just the age we live in, you have to be extremely careful what you say. This current world we live in is driven by feelings and emotions and not interested in logic or any kind of discussion that goes against their world view.

I got a perma-ban on Homeworld 3 forum for just saying the "w" word, you know the saying, go ____ go broke. And I was not even talking about anyone in the post or even towards their game or company, it was in the context of why some games are not successful. That was the title of the OP, why do games fail. I just stated "w" agendas and it was all over for me.

Steam would not get involved, and I even appeal to the company said "are you serious? a perma ban for that?" they would not reverse the decision.
