just turtle up with missile defences in the bottom right capture zone and volley fire missiles at targets.
the ai is dumb and will drip feed ships at you from the top.
Its a battle of attrition you can wear them down and hold the sector until other fleets arrive
Make sure your missiles are all firing at once, though. Keep them turned off until the enemy ships are in range of ALL your ships so you can kill them with one salvo.
You need to say what you're actually doing so we know how to correct any mistakes you're making. Because the first guy's comment is exactly what you need to do for a pretty simple guaranteed win on this battle every time.
If you want to have the most fun, spawn as many ohps as you can and rush them towards any sovremenniy you see
the swarm's oto melaras will kill anything by death of a thousand cuts
personally i don't use chamsuris as they are too fragile and have too little offensive power, missile defenses are where it's at anyway (SRMs for the kongo/ohp and Sea Sparrows for the hatsu)
