[FIXED] Alt + Tab problem, cant tab back into the game.

Hello people!

Always after I use Alt + Tab to go out of the game, i cant reopen the game again.
The window is just gone, even in the taskbar. WarGame3.exe stays open in the background somehow. I need to close it via Task-Manager.

I play (and would like to play) in fullscreen on Windows 10.

I found a solution:

Settings >> Graphic >> fullscreen to windowed-fullscreen (maybe its called different, im german)

"If you're running Windows 10 you can just search with cortana "multitasking" and go to your multitasking settings. From there switch it to "show all" or whatever it says for showing all on the taskbar.

Basically what's happened is Windows has created a second screen that doesn't exist and is sending to game to that desktop. That's why we can't see it when we tab out of the game. Just follow the instructions above and it should fix it. Great find again karg!"

I fixed it for me.

Nvidia Control panel is the culprit.

Used DDU to uninstall my gpu drivers, restarted.

windows will automatically install Nvidia control panel with some basic drivers.

Uninstall Nvidia control panel and don't install it from the Microsoft store

Download Nvidia Geforce experience

Turn off auto updates.

Old but...
Right click on desktop go to Display settings/Multitasking under Virtual desktops set both options to "All desktops" done.
You don't have to reinstall driver for that

I hit Ctrl + alt + arrow keys. To switch desktops
Or alt + tab to switch windows on that desktop.

Well, none of those solutions worked for me. So tired of this ♥♥♥♥.

I fixed it like this:
In Nvidia Control Panel go to "Adjust desktop size and position" and switch Fullscreen to Aspect Ratio and disable the option "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs"
if you dont want to play on windowed fullscreen mode you can try this fix.
