India (potential faction)

I've looked into it and it seems they would be a fairly well put together faction with diverse equipment. Thoughts?

Saudi Arabia is actually a Way better faction

India as a faction will suffer similar problems as china: both are large but less resource-concentrated so it will have poorly equipped cheap infantry(hopefully), okay commando infantry, bad AA and arty(most indian arty are not self-mobile), okay to good tanks if it can get T90S, and not-very-good airforce with mirage 2000

The problem of keep adding non-Asian countries to a wargame ostensibly set in Asia spells out how much they care about the audiences who are interested in the military history of the region and/or their (lack of) competency to make Asia-Pacific and South Asian theatres playable. Adding SADF is the last straw. Really shows how much further they are willing to cater for a very specific audience. Graviteam Tactics did a much better job portraying the conflicts that the SADF was involved. I will skip the new country pack as I have done with the rest in the past.

Time for a red Nation to be implemented as a DLC . When can we expect India to be in the game? Are you guys already working on it?

I don't think it would make sense to include india: at the time it was a regional power with a lot of internal issues

Well it was leaning towards the soviet ideology and since we need another red faction which isnt a copy paste soviet arsenal, it makes sence to add them. Cuba on the other hand would be worth to look at too. Or, bulgaria romania, its madmats proposal for a next red faction.

And South Africa didn't have any internal issues in this period?
India could easily have been implemented. Considering that the conflict takes place in the far-east, it makes more sense with India in the rooster, rather than Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland +++
I also belive that India could field more unique units than countries mentioned above would be able to. Correct me if im wrong

You arent wrong. India has been worked out on the Eugen Forums as a potential Nation to be included into the game
