Cuban pack? (Red Faction)
If Eugene System is preparing a South African DLC, Could we expect the counterpart of South Africa? It will not be complete whitout a Cuban Army.

What does Cuba even have that the USSRs doesn't?

Funny BTR-60 modification
and a anti-submarine rocket launcher on a truck.
Not enough to make a full fledged and original faction I suppose.

You might want to take a look at the list of equipment for the Cuban military. Alternatively you could try playing the game as USSR with nothing but motostrelki, t62s, and zsu-57s for AA.

Basically all red faction is URSS weapons and the infantery making the difference.

Iran or Libya would make more sense, both had huge amounts of Western/Eastern equipment and would be good Opfor.

It was actually considered ... but Cuba's top-of-the-line prototype (actually, well into the 2000s) would have been a BTR-60 with T-55 turret.
Cuba's 2000s are another country's 60s-70s ...

That's the biggest problem with most of Nations that are requested.
The same can be said for some nations already present ingame too.
Like Denmark for exemple.

I think Denmark would be a superpower comparerd to Cuba.

It has Otomatic after all ... :)

True, true.
The Otomagic is quite a beast.
Speaking of which the OTOMATIC was only given on Denmark because of balance right? I always wondered if there was another reason.

It's now quite far away, but I seem to recall that Denmark actually considered or tested the Otomatic IRL.

Iran would be an excellent addition and got many votes. Would also be fun for matches against Israel.

Speaking of Western/eastern equipment, a coalition of both germanies or koreas would be amazing.

Interesting, thanks for taking time to reply!

I think it would be cool to make a cuban '60 deck to run against the SADF faction. I am trying to simulate a few minor factions be making very limited USSR/CCP decks but its hard to find something between reservists and regulars to represent poorly trained and motivated troops. Cubans might be easier as they would have better morale and veterans of the cuban civil war.

lowest veterancy Line infantry work well for that. Actually, low veterancy line infantry are better at representing Reservists than what we got ingame.
