We had like one indigenous tank (noteworthy) which was pretty much a patton and it sucked so much it fired on its own when you turned on the air conditioner. Was a huge scandal. As for the rest it will make the north koreans look like high tech. We could go full alternate reality like they did with the norks that have T-90. So I guess since we were neutral we had some arms deals going with Israel they supplied us with Grenade Launchers and Maglans which we then gave to every vehicle and infantry. Also glorious F-18 fighter bomber and Puma attack helicopter with a single soldier armed with a SIG 550 inside. (no BS they called that an attack helicopter in swiss TV news.)
Still back in the day as a joke I plead for the Swiss army to be added too in ALB even said at the first pictures that it looks like it plays in Switzerland.
We could get the Piranha as a troop transport to troll the US Americans. Its basically the LAV.
They are neutral though, and the risk that they would get involved in a cold war outbreak would have been very unlikely since they did not even take part in ww2.
Modern swiss equipment is interesting, but back then..they did not have anything really.
Someone had to say it.
Yeah, Swiss Army knives..
btw..they are utter BS..they might be a cool asset to have in your pocket as a civilian or a soldier, but when it comes to actual close quarter combat, you do better with a proper bayonet.
Exactly, and this makes it pretty useless, since all the other parts of this knife are not very helpful for any military role.

And Switzerland was active in what alliance during the cold war?
As far as I know, they were neutral, so they weren't part of the block nor the NATO.
Israel already is an non-cold war country, so let's not add an other one. I would prefer them to update already existing nations.
@Jean-Christophe: I didn't say anything about it, just so we could imagine what the deck would look like.
And I didn't say your posting was wrong, I am just saying that Swiss was neutral and won't be a part of the game.
So why even posting how the deck could lock like?
But North Korea did and does have T-90s. They are/were a special export only model that the Russian Federation sold to them in generous numbers. The same export model was also sold to India in large numbers and a modified version of said T-90s serves as India's main service MBT.
Interesting. From what I read Eugen made up some alternate events to give them T-90. Maybe they have T-90 now in 2010+ but not in the 90s.
Yeah I'm not sure when such exports took place.
