Ash and Shadows for Mac Pls

Okay so I know people who ask for the mod install get a lot of flak, but hey in my defense I've got a Mac so I get an excuse okay. Anyways if I use the link in the post made since 2015 by Spectre, I get a Rar file that only my VLC seems to want to "read". Do any Mac users out there know how to do this, unless it's pretty much impossible and I'm stuck with my boring vanilla version.
