And if you are open to other kind of games, but into cold war military stuff :

Eugen hve filled a niche with the Wargame series and Steel Division.
You are welcome. The game is only Player VS computer, no multi.
- Slower than Wargame
- Same general movement (Reco, tank, infantry, helos...)
- Same (and sometimes better : all HQ tanks for example) armory than ALB (no asian nations, pure cold war)
- AI seems ok (better than RD)
- Compagny and platoon move (better made than wargame on this)
- No 3D but nice graphics (same view than Close Combat (pure top down) but better graphics)
I bought Syrian Warfare and though a subjective opinion i would say it was very disappointing.
Feels dated and a little clunky.
Cause i want a RTS with modern war, and i have Call to arms, Red Dragon, but i can't find something new. The lastest is Call to arms, but it's an hybrid RTS/FPS.
