M1A2 is the best tank in game. Follow by the Merkeva BAZ and Challenger 2. T-72BU has issues with its accuracy and morale.

Can you provide evidence?

I can't see why the T-72BU should have issues with morale?

Accuracy can obviously be compared via statistics.

what?

Excuse me, unlike you I am not dumb.

What is the best tank? Oh yeah sure its the most expensive one. Has most AP and high armor is gonna pwn everythign therefore best tank. Oh whats that Mig-27 BOOM there goes your 180pt tank.

"Best" isn't the same as "most costly".

MBT-70 is godlike, ain't my problem when you can't use it to godlike performance.

By our criteria the latest Merkava is obviously the best tank. M1A2 has no atgm therefore it can't be best tank.

In this case, the most expensive ones are the ones that are most effective.

The fact that you start insulting proves your troll background.

Reported!

Have a nice day.

Agree

tank effectiveness is dictated by its surroundings and use. All your blue tanks will lose against red tanks in 1vs1 thanks to the atgm. Apart from as I said the Merkava.

You lack so much basic understanding that it is sad.

MBT-70 has been and probably always will be among the best tanks out there. Ofc you don't pit a single MBT-70 vs a T-80U but hey sure let the kids have their ♥♥♥♥(tank)-measuring contest.

bye

M1A2 always seems to run out of fuel and performs not to well for me, always need a supply truck or heli not too far away from the tank. For some reason I am able to perform better with something like the Czech Moderna or the Leopard 2a4.

ATGMs on red tanks let them snipe ATGM vehicles from range, most super heavy fights don't occur in wide open fields where a red tank can land an ATGM and then go battle because its far deadlier and more efficient to just have a SU-27M or F18C on standby as area denial.

MBT-70 is extremely good at infantry support with 5 HE, high accuracy, medium armor, and an autoloader. The US deck has the M8 AGS, Vulcan FSV, and CEV/ACAV as other options though that pretty much compete with the MBT-70's tactical role.

nah these all have massive downsides. M8 no armor so even a BTR can be problematic, Vulcan is a minigun so no AP, CEV is worthless with 1000m range nerf and minimum range. I wanted to experiment with the Starship as infantry support but haven't had the chance yet.

Them MBT come at high vet so they're very accurate and deal crits relatively often.

I cracked T-90s with MBT-70, sure outplaying and outsmarting the opponent was part of it. They wont survive a frontal engagement in the open. Problem with all those 150+ tanks is a single plane will come in and kill two or even more with one strafing run. It might as well kill your AA as well.

Can you use a MG3 for anti air? nope. Can MBT-70 be anti air? yes, given the circumstances allow it (forest, hills).

The economics are another thing. A 60pt tank is expendable. You can be risky with it. With a 160pt tank you wont risk anything. Once its gone you'll barely be able to afford a new one if you even get one at all. Add to that that you run out of money with all the high cost toys.

I am one of those players that likes to have two max heavy tanks together with some meatshield and then push hard. Without the meatshield however these tanks are toast. Without air cover they're toast too.

I wrote tank guides for EE which are imo to this day pretty relevant even in RD. "forum abuser" lol

it comes down to how you want to use slots and playstyle, but bottom line is MBT-70 is a solid frontline brawler tank. And yeah dude, alot of steam forum people don't know anything lol.

On the Vulcan: its cheap though. You only need one to button up and stun lock pretty much any unit in the game, and then other ♥♥♥♥ (M8 AGS, MBT) can easily kill it.
Nero Dec 18, 2016 @ 11:36am
yeah absolutely these units are certainly useful too.

T72-BU is best tank in the game in my opinon, but depends on what your looking for its not really as simple as your making it.
You have to go over the stats of the tanks to find what your looking for yourself..

So whats the deal with you huh? I have no reason to. Besides, its hilarious when you do it.

Anyone else wanna come by and be a funny guy with empty accusations? Come on its on the house.

Leopard 1 series, Strv 103 series, T-72 series. Just avoid the basic model.
I used not too fond with ATGM, I hate the resupplying cost. And the tell tale ATGM flash. Hope someday i could filter not to resupply ATGM on tanks.
But if i would pick the best tank with ATGM, Sheridan, and Chinese amphibious tank comes into my mind.
