Alarm sound?
Is there a way to make it less annoying?

Just picked up the game and it's already pissing me off...

I trully understand you, all those pings and when your units are being attack sounds is trully of a nuisance, one of the main reasons that I quit this game, there is no alert sounds adjustement in sound menu, there used to be NO way to remove the zoom out ambiance sound, and after YEARS they put option in menu for it. You are not the only one and most of the ppls end up playing with NO sounds at all.. kinda sad because this is one of the best RTS.

I hear it when I'm not playing the game and I feel sick, do I want to play it ? heh.

oh I just found my new sms ringtone.

What makes it so annoying is that it even makes the sound when an allied unit is attacked not just yours. They should really turn that off but with a developer like Eugen... it will take some years of convincing.
