Unable to Import any decks
I have just started playing the game.
Spent quite a lot of time on the discussion boards due to the huge learning curve in the game.
I started copying examples of decks from the boards to see some examples; However no matter what I try in game I cannot paste a deck into the game.
Crtl-V does nothing . Is there a folder on my PC that I can insert decks into?

That should be working. You also need to add a name for the deck as well before it will allow you to import it.

Just make sure you have the string correct. Try this.

My understanding is that there is only one way to import a code

1. Open the game
2. Select "Deck"
3. Select "Import" in the bottom right hand corner
4. Give the deck a name on the top line e.g. 4 CMBG; and
5. Copy the deck code onto the bottom line, where it says "Paste a deck code here" using Ctr+V

Two points to note
1. When you paste the code the instruction "Paste a deck code here" should disappear; and
2. Old deck codes will not work because the coding seems to change every time a new DLC or major patch is issued.

An example of a working code for a Canadian Mechanised Deck is set out below. The code should be copied "as is" with no spaces or additions with before or after the code.

Good luck

OK, that makes absolutely no sense. Post your problem in here and see what what they can do.

May be its because your deck codes are no longer valid? Because as I know, when the game gets updates, the deck codes may change.

I thought that too, but the code I sent is current.

What's wrong with getting assistance from the community? Would make sense to see what others use and what they don't.

Well I finally tracked down my problem with importing decks. Between my AV and a memory release tool I had running, the clipboard was wiped whenever I switched between programs. Turning off the memory release tool permitted me to import deck codes.

Vigilant... New to game so wanted to see what decks people liked to build. Studying them gives me better insight into the game-meta.

Thanks Again to all for the assists and suggestions. The positive attitude on the boards is a refreshing change from most of the forums/boards for other games I play.

You're welcome mate, and so we all love this game, enjoy!!!

Glad you sorted your problem. Be aware, though, that the make up of the deck may be influenced by the preferred mode (Conquest, Destruction etc,) and type of game (low point tactical, high point 10v10 etc,) that the player likes to play.
Happy Wargaming.
