Wargame: Red Dragon

Is this game worth it AT ALL for Single Player?
As the title may imply, I am mostly an SP kinda guy, but I love the look and feel of the WG series. Does Red Dragon bring more to the table that Air/Land Battle in terms of SP, or is it more of the same?

It's actually a little less than ALB. Mostly due to the lack of Co-Op. Same number of campaigns though.

Hi Direwolf!
I am in a similare situation, in that I work away from Wifi so cannot play multiplayer at all, and WGRD is my main "go to" game. Yes there is so much more to the multiplayer, but the campaigns are cool; the last 3 do have some replay value.....not everlasting of course (!) but I like it :-)

I enjoyed all SP campaigns. Even replayed some. It was pretty fun.

1209 hr on it only in skirmish, never played multiplayer, never done campaign. Still playing with it today each week. Do that answer your question ? =P

This game rocks in SP. I play skirmishes against the AI all the time.

I like the campaigns, more of less only been playing campaigns. I do however wish the campaigns where a bit more random every time i restart it. Els they are great.

Try skirmish! It's random!

Better try 10vs10 multiplayer then. Its random, fun and noob friendly.
ALB campaign was "harder" than this game because you played as the nords. Which have crap units compare to PACT forces. But in RD SP you have better units because you're playing with the best NATO units and blue dragons. But RD single player campaign is much more brutal than EE or ALB. The AI doesn't stop and will try to steamroll you. In ALB the AI would not move it units until they had line of sight. This made them arty and bomber fodder. In RD they AI will move in multiple directions and would guess where you're hiding. Recon is much better optimized this game than in the previous two games. EE was just a zerg AI with unlimited units.

Buying game only for SP would be a shame in my opinion, the AI is terribale, it's useing the rush tactic many times, you won't be able to get the full tactic valiues of thi game by just playing SP, I hope it helped you a bit :D

I have to dissagree. I like playing SP skirmishes. And I am having fun with it. But that maybe just me.
