Trying to 100% this game, but getting worn out, what can i do?

I have been trying to 100% this game and have been playing for a month straight, but the game fatigue is catching up to me. i need to do something to rest and come back later. what can i do?

Bro, this kind of games are not meant to be played non stop and finished in a month. It's a roguelike.

(Edit : Btw, beautiful use of the debug console / mods / SAM for some chievos unlocked same day, same hour/min for totaly impossible things ie 2 diff tainted or 2 diff challenges back to back or the Greed mode 1000 coins done in 10 min, impressive. Gotta go fast with the 100%, better skip some time consuming / hard things.)

Play to have fun / to relax, not to farm chievos, being burn or say "+1 done, next".
Better play 20-40 hrs story games in this case, not 1k hours rng games.

I took 5 years and 700 hrs to finish it. Chill.

oh yeah prob should've mentioned that, i had that glitch were steam achievements unsynced so i had to sync back so it looks like i cheated lmao (this guy had the same problem https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/od5akc/my_achievements_got_deleted_for_some_reason/)

the only reason to 100% this is so you never have to play it again. this is a terrible, joyless game and there's nothing to win here. hell, with all the rampant cheating abound even the completion means nothing if you don't record video proof.

not saying it's not extremely addictive, of course (but the same is true for League of Legends, where I played thousands of games, had to see the game ruined beyond recognition and got nothing to show for it). I've been playing this 95% of my gaming time for like half a year now (36 more achievements to go). maybe the next run will have op items and I'll get another completion mark... pffff. in the end everyone is a loser for shoving his time into this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slot machine!!! hell, halfway through that I seriously pondered giving up video games as a whole because I was so tired of the sheer futility... after 35 years of playing

Yep, also had that issue. 2/3 or so of my achievements say that they were unlocked at the same time in 2021, but I have screenshots of this game dating back to 2017 as proof.

But yeah, definitely take your time with this game. Took me 700+ hours over 7 years to 100% the game. Since I played pre-Repentance, the amount of content I got out of the game was buffered, so it wasn't as overwhelming to tackle the completion marks and challenges when this last DLC came out. Some of the last completion marks for some of the Tainted characters are a real pain, and I ended up taking a long break before coming back to finish them; if you look at my achievements, you can see a gap in unlock time: Repentance unlocks in 2022 & 2024, no unlocks in 2023.

Take breaks from the game or focus on different things to make it feel fresh. I usually jump between completion marks, greed mode, challenges (for unlocks) and daily runs. Took me 834 hours to finish it, so take your time and most importantly keep having fun :)
