Forgot to mention that performance tanks hard in floors like burning basement and flooded caves. Especially in rooms that have a lot of projectiles/entities and fires. Also I’m playing on a laptop. Lol

I dont know about mods performance. But atleast for flooded stages you can disable the water (which also removes reflections) and gain some fps.

I had fps issues playing online (4 isaacs), caused mostly by the water reflections. It also helped me with visual clarity on those stages.

You do this by creating a "config.ini" in Isaac install folder -> resources. The config.ini must contain this line:

EnableWaterSurface=0

If you want to enable the water again just remove the line, or change it to "1". Or delete the config.ini entirely

There are other options you can add, but i never tested them. You can change them to 0 or 1 depending which one you want. By default i think they are all in 1.

EnableColorCorrection=1
EnableCaustics=1
EnableShockwave=1
EnableLighting=1
EnableFilter=1
EnablePixelation=1
EnableBloom=1
EnableInterpolation=1
