Does damage up affect friendly flies?

I'm doing a challange run and I'm just wondering.

Those blue flies that chase the enemies, yes. Those things that circle you, no. BFF helps a ton tho :)

If I recall right. Blue flies deal double you current damage. And it isn't BFF that helps blue flies and spiders, that is Hivemind.

Correct, Blue Attack Flies deal your dmaage stat * 2, while Blue Attack Spiders deal your damage * 2.5. Orbitals around you do varying amounts of damage depending on the oribtal, and that damage will be doubled with BFFs. Blue Fly/Spider Damage will be doubled with hive Mind.
