Infinite Flies Glitch?

I came across a glitch(?) the other day when I was on a Cain run for Mega Satan and about once I reached the Wumb I had infinite blue attack flies. Note I didn't have the Fish Head, Guppy's Head, the Rotton Baby, or Skragtole. How it went was there was always one fly around me at least and in bursts, a huge amount of flies would spawn from it.

Guppy's head isn't needed for this.
It's possible you gained 3 of any other guppy parts

Ah yes I had the Collar and the Paw. So it's meant to suppon infinite flies because I've never had that happen to me when I turned into Guppy.

It ALWAYS happens when you turn into guppy. That's the entire point of it besides flying
