Might be correct in regards of Isaac only but as Maggy is a sure reference to Mary Magdalene she has to be seen as female. Same Reason as with Azazel being genderless.

in every example given there, quotes straight out of the bible where azazel is mentioned, it always refers to azazel as a "he"...so i dunno why so many think azazel is a female.
Because this is the internet. Everything must get gender bent.
i suspect the design was kind of going for a heavy metal look but it's kind of tricky in pixel art.
