Can I Use a Keyboard and Controller at the Same Time?

So I prefer playing BoI using a controller, however when I use my controller I can no longer use the keyboard to control any aspect of the game. Cannot move, shoot, select, pause, etc...

My question: is it possible to have the controller and keyboard active/usable at the same time?

I dont think so, But U could play Co-op tho :)

Maybe if you map everything using Joytokey or similar and start from the actual keyboard, but you would lose the analog movement for walking and manually controlled tears (Ludo, ???'s Friend, etc)
