And it's the boss, don't mix it with Mom's Hands enemies. ;)
thanks
Why do you think it's the worst design? I really like it, it's that hardcore roguelike feeling, that constant fear of dying which makes you play more careful and different than usual.
Because the game is filled with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damage to the point of you needing an almost pefect item combo to do much of anything or suffer hours and hours of deaths. Im 150 deaths in so far and got to Moms heart once only to die 1/2 a second before killing her.
There are a few sources of unavoidable damage still with a LOT more BS mobs that can change how they act, or are just pure RNG. Like the jumping spiders for example. Iv had so many runs ended from them thanks to the 3/4 room jumps they do over rocks at warp speeds. Thier AI only has them jump to your back but they will do that from many tiles away and at impossible speeds if a single rock is in the path and are immune to knockback thanks to being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPIDERS. RNG mobs are just that and are impossible to avoid from RNG if your number is up.
Practice makes perfect is what applies here, the Lost is a case of unless you want 100%, don't play it. The lost is kinda bad design, but the 150 deaths thing is not the best example.
I have 0 issue with the jumping spiders.
