My favorite is Eve, but the general consensus is that the best character is either Azazel because... Flying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Brimstone, or Judas because of that starting damage and 100% Devil Room chance with the Book of Belial.

Eden or Azazel. Judas and Cain can be fun or they can be just a huge pain in the ass. Eve seems to've been nerfed so she's not quite as dangerous to play.

Judas got nerfed? It might be my memory but i'm pretty sure that judas is mostly unchanged.
If anything Judas got buffed, due to the book of belial now giving 100% chance of devil or angel rooms

Judas had one more point into damage in the first one (4 instead of 3) making him a glass cannon. To counter that the book of beliel now does indeed give angel/devil room guarintee, but IMO, he just does not have as much oomph now xD still a good charicter though :D

That's probably because you're out of luck. Usually when I play with her, I always find curse room with black/soul hearts or tinted rocks pretty quickly so I can keep my health at 1, and stacking massive damage ups from ♥♥♥♥♥ of babylon.

I'd say Eden, Isaac (And D6 does count) or Judas. Eden looks to be getting the most votes so probs Eden as the overall fav.

Eve. Was my favorite character in the original BoI even if it wasn't one of the best, but now that she has been buffed a lot I like her even more. I like her typical risky yet powerful gameplay.

But I also like to play with all other characters except Maggy and Lazarus.
