Dad's Key Seed to get Ending?

I just unlocked Dad's Key, but going through the game over and over in the hope that it'll spawn doesn't sound like a ton of fun. Would the use of a seed that contains it still unlock the ending gotten when beating Mega Satan?

I would imagine no. Seeds dont allow anything to be unlocked so I would imagine that blanket block applies to everything.

You can also try to skip devil deals and bomb 2 angel statues to use their key to unlock the boss door.

Doable. Harder, but doable. And easier than waiting for dad's key if you really need that ending ;)

And of course it's way more legit than seeded runs :)

True. And I suppose Judas is both a damn good character (third, down to Az the OP and Eve the DPS ♥♥♥♥♥) and has easy access to Angel Rooms.

Simply do the angel room thing, or you can use dad's key. Frankly, i once got lucky and found dad's key in one of the four chests... It's quite common to get the item anyways.

From the gamepedia. Just had an op run and got dad's key from one of the chests in the Chest, and i was like: "I guess i'm gonna do it". He was so easy with scythe+tammy's_head+habit.

You only need to beat mega satan once. Just go azazel and angel rooms

Yeah, there were a few exploits to do with the game not correctly clearing the seed from memory that would alow it, but those were fixed so unless you backed up your own 1.022 or earlier version that method won't work anymore.
