Trapdoor in Womb II goes where?

If I have the Negative, and I open up a trapdoor to the next level in Womb II, will it take me to Sheol or is it random whether I get Sheol or Cathedral?

The trap door always goes to Sheol, and the beam of light always goes to the Cathedral. Having the Polaroid or Negative affects whether you go to the floor after each of those. I hope that's clear. I'm trying to be spoiler free.
