Rules Card...

Just thinking about what the Rules Card can possibily be used for so it will benefit you on a run through. I can only think that it takes away a few seconds from your time possibly making you too slow for Boss Rush. (Negative)

Can anyone put forward something?

It gives cryptic messages, though it really only gives you hints on how to get to the Boss Rush Room Mega satan fight and The Lost unlock.
Other than that it does nothing

• "Rooms may yield more than you expect"

• "Some doors require a blessing. Carry them with you"

• "The walls will harden over time. Time is the essence"

• "Sleeping gatekeepers will need to be awoken with a loud sound"

• A piece of paper is your guide"

• Deny his gifts to attain your reward"

• A dark market lies under your feet

• Chub dislikes smoke!

So really at this point it doesn't do much since all the secrets have been discovered

It sucks...unlocking the rules card basically adds a useless item to the game. I wish you could somehow re-lock it so it doesn't show up. But I guess it adds a negative. If everything was good the game wouldn't be as fun I suppose.

Indeed, from what I remember the method of relocking items by making a mod and gating them behind an invalid achievement ID in the xml doesn't work for pocketitems for some reason.
